The Basing House is a welcome edition to East London’s thriving bar and club scene. Situated on Kingsland Road, in the very heart of Shoreditch, this 300 capacity late-licensed venue is the ideal setting for parties of a more clandestine nature. An intimate, social venue with an uncompromising Funktion One sound system, which fits our definition of London’s underground house & techno scene. Based in an old pub, Basing House’s inside space is almost c…avernous, with a mottled stone ceiling, exposed brick and a comfortable roof terrace garden adding a dose of chic into the mix.

Kevin Griffiths [Jan’s Special Guest] has launched a sub-label called Tsuba Limited. The label will only release on vinyl and each of the 350 copies released will be hand-stamped. “The Luchador” is the first release from Naples based producer Rio Padice.
